Salted Caramel Popcorn


  • 6 cups of popped popcorn
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsps coarse sea salt
  • Coarse sea salt for topping
  • 15-20 caramel candies


      1. Prepare popcorn
      2. In a large pot over medium heat, melt brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup together; stirring until sugar has dissolved
      3. Allow to lightly simmer for 5 minutes
      4. Add sea salt and baking soda (Careful! Mixture will expand)
      5. Add popcorn and stir until evenly coated
      6. Spread on a lined baking sheet and allow to cool
      7. Cut caramel candies into small pieces and toss into popcorn once it has cooled and set
      8. Top with a sprinkle of sea salt
      9. Enjoy a delicious fall caramel popcorn!
