Peach Sangria Popcorn

Ingredients
- 6 cups of popped popcorn
- 1/2 stick of unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup of white sugar
- 1/2 cup of corn syrup
- 1/2 cup of peach preserves
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- Dried fruit for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare popcorn whichever way you'd like (air popper, microwave, stove top, pre-popped)
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium-high heat
- Stir in sugar, corn syrup, and peach preserves
- Stir in sugar, corn syrup, and peach preserves
- When mixture comes to a boil, allow to sit for 2 minutes and then stir in baking soda (it will puff up/expand!)
- Immediately stir in popcorn into the pot until coated evenly
- Pour coated popcorn out on parchment paper or another nonstick surface and allow to cool
- Sprinkle popcorn with some extra white sugar and dried fruit (optional)
- Enjoy!
