Jelly Donut (Sufganiyah) Popcorn

Ingredients

• 6 cups of popcorn (we recommend popping with Movie Theater Butter and sugar instead of salt)
• 1/2 cup of sugar
• 1/2 cup of corn syrup
• 1/2 cup of strawberry jam
• 1 tsp baking soda
• Powdered sugar for topping

Instructions

1. Prepare popcorn in a pot, popper, etc. using movie theater butter to pop
2. As the popcorn is popping, sprinkle a little bit of sugar every 20-30 seconds
3. When popcorn is finished, set aside
4. Melt butter over medium heat
5. Stir in sugar, corn syrup, and strawberry jam to make combine
6. When mixture comes to a boil, allow to sit for 2 minutes and then stir in baking soda
7. Immediately stir popcorn into pot and coat
8. Pour coated popcorn on parchment paper or other nonstick surface and allow to cool
9. Powdered sugar topping to taste
