Cinco de Mayo Margarita Popcorn

  1. Prepare popcorn
  2. Preheat oven to 300°
  3. Over medium heat in a large saucepan, combine butter, sugar, corn syrup, salt, and cream of tartar
  4. Once everything is combined, add margarita mix and baking soda
  5. Bring to a boil and allow to simmer for 5 minutes
  6. Add popcorn to candied margarita mix right away
  7. Stir until completely coated
  8. Spread popcorn onto a lined baking sheet (1 even layer)
  9. Squeeze lime juice over popcorn and add salt/sugar mix
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes (stirring every 5 minutes)
  11. Allow candied popcorn to set before enjoying!
