Boozy Banana Popcorn

  1. Prepare popcorn
  2. Over medium heat, melt butter and sugar
  3. Once sugar has dissolved, add corn and syrup (alcohol cooks out)
  4. Bring to a simmer for 5 minutes
  5. Add baking soda, mixture will expand
  6. In a large bowl, add popcorn and banana chips
  7. Pour caramel mixture over popcorn and stir until completely covered
  8. Spread onto a lined baking sheet and allow to cool before serving
  9. Enjoy!
    * For an alternative, replace shot of rum with 1/4 tsp. rum extract
